A tumy tuck is a surgical procedure where they cut an oval type of incision and take out the extra skin. Then they pull the top of the tummy down and sew it tothe bottom ofthe stomach. It usually involves a "bikini" incision (in your bikini line) and also many times you need to have your bellybutton replaced. It might get pulled down to low if enough excess skin is removed.

Lipo is when the Dr. uses a long tube similar to a needle attached to a suction machine. He sucks the fat out but can only do so much safely at a time. It is not meant to be for weight loss but for sculpting areas which you are unhappy about. This could be your thighs, hips, buttocks.

Neither is to be considered lightly, Both are major surgery and ther are always risks with that. Discuss this with your Dr.
Make sure he is a board certified plastic surgeon. These days every one from dentists to dermatologits are doing these procedures.

tummy tuck is when they fold a layer of skin over another, after treating it ofcourse (ovbiously on your belly). liposuction is when they stick a sharp metal hose into various parts of your body (like a needle, but 1-1.5 inches in diameter) they puncture your skin with it, on your face, thighs, arms, hands, feet, chest, stomache, abdomen, everywhere. then your very sore afterwards.
