Tummy Tuck on Obese

How do I deal with these people who comment on my weight gain?
Since May I have gained 30 lbs. I eat right and exercise. It shows because I am really short. It is so embarrasing. Finally I went to a doctor who diagnosed Hypothyroidism and Cushing Disease which BOTH cause wt. gain.
My question is about comments I get from some people at work like: Why don’t you have gastic-bypass, or a tummy tuck? “You really need to go on a diet, I never see you eating here, so you must pig out at home.”
I was slightly overweight, but now I am obese. Hopefully with the medication, the wt. will begin to come off. I would never dream of saying the things that these people say. How do I deal with them tactfully? I know I have a serious medical condition, but I don’t think it is anyone’s business.
I’m afraid to visit with people I haven’t seen in a few months because they all look at me in disbelief. I went from a size 10 to a size 14!
I totally know how you feel. I went from a size 18 to a size 24 in just a few months. I have insullin resistance & hypothryoid. If you are getting treatment for your conditions then you will begin dropping the weight. I’ve lost 10 lbs in 4 weeks after starting my meds. You just have to deal w/them honestly…don’t be rude. I would be open about your condition, maybe it would open their eyes more.
