Great stuff once again – and doesn’t he try to put TCP on it in one of the next scenes? Deserves to be repeated. Only time I’ve ever seen it being shown on TV since was on TFI Friday when they showed Kathy Burke singing – she supposedly really was drunk.

Thanks for putting this up, warrenpeace66. Brilliant! I remember watching the series when it was first broadcast. I believe there was some contractual rights argument (or something along those lines) between Rivron and Channel 4. I hope one day, it will be released on DVD, though some 17 years on, I’m not optimistic! Rivron is, I believe, quoted in an interview as saying it’s one of his best achievements. I agree!

pure genius!! I first saw it in 1990 and loved it, thankfully it was repeated in autumn 1992 and I recorded them all, sadly the tape quality is now very poor.
I always liked the farmer best, but they were all so funny, one day please let them be on dvd!!!!

I have 4 of these, Ronnie, Giles, Tarquin and David. This series was far ahead of its time, hence same vibe as Cyderdelic etc. I really hope this comes out on DVD. Rivron should be oh so proud!

You should check out ‘RAW SEX’ the movie. No not what your thinking, it was a made for video film that Rivron and Simon Brint made as the characters Dwayne and his Dad who had a pub band called RAW SEX. They also used to appear on French and Saunders as these characters, genius!

I absolutely loved the set of six and every time I go to somewhere like Virgin or HMV I always look for it but have never found it anywhere. It really is a classic but hardly any one I know remembers it. I need to get better mates
