How Much Does It Cost to Have a Tummy Tuck?

Is this something you pay up front? do they have payment plans? Will insurence pay any of it?

    my friend just had breat augmentation and checked into tummy tuck while she was there. She said it was gonna cost about 6000. for the tummy tuck because they wanted to do lipo also. They will not even schedule the surgery without the payment in full. After many visits there talking about what she needed, she then had to pay, then they scheduled surgery 2 weeks later

    oh- no insurance will not cover any cosmetic surgeries!

    You pay up front and here in Tijuana Mexico it is about $4600.00.
    In the states twice as much. The doctors here are all certified and some have usa and mexico certificates.

    I’m thinking the last time I heard it is around $5,000 or more. Most places don’t want to do payment plans any more, they want you to charge it on a card, which if you pay the minimum payments you pay triple for the procedure.
    Insurance doesn’t pay this, they consider it "cosmetic" and not necessary! Can you believe it!
