After Liposuction Is Done, Do They Sew Up the Loose Skin? Where Does That Loose Skin Seam Go?

Wouldn’t it show as a stitch in the skin? Does it stretch out and is is unsafe to gain weight after liposuction? But you can’t help gaining if you haven’t learned to eat, you took the easy, not cheap way out, huh?

No, when you get Liposuction the insicions are so small there is no need for a stitch, plus if you get the most common "super wet technique" which shrinks blood vessels and enlarges fat cells, the excess fluid drains from those incisions for the next few days. After that those little incisions heal very well! If too much skin is the issue, then Liposuction isn’t the correct answer and it will not remove skin, that would be an Abdominoplasty. You can continue eating however you want, but the fat cells will accumulate in other parts of the body, so use caution with high fat/carb intake.

lipo doesn’t remove enough fat to cause loose skin, but if a person does have loose skin, they can go in for a different surgery to get it removed. and the stitches shouldn’t cause a scar if you take care of it the right way.

with some people, they do gain the weight back, but a lot of people don’t gain it back. often, people get lipo on areas where they can’t lose the weight, even if they are healthy and fit.

they actually cut out the loose skin. And hey my friend did it and gained back all the fat. She is back to square one. It is an easy but very expensive way out.
