This is a 4 month result. The 5 year outcome is on our main website. Things begin to look good at 4 weeks and improve out to 6 months. Scars can a while longer to fade especially in patients of color.

Thanks for sharing this. I will have one soon my insurance is covering it due to my doctor saying it aggravates my back. Having 5 kids can wreck havoc on a body regardless of exercise and weight loss. After it heals, I plan on getting a tattoo.

How can you eliminate the giant scar? The structural improvements are great but that long snaking scar is a bit of an eyesore. Can follow on surgery or other treatments reduce/eliminate it?

I have had my appt with my surgeon and I go back in two months to make a appt for the surgery. It’s really exciting yet it makes me nervous.
